License notes
What the licenses actually mean for users and contributors.
Every ArtCraft repository we have verified is dual-licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0, at your option. Both licenses are permissive open source licenses approved by the OSI. You can use, modify, and redistribute the code, including for commercial purposes.
Check the repository’s license files before redistributing a modified build. Permission to reuse source code does not automatically grant permission to use a project’s name or branding.
Fonts, icons and images may have separate terms. Review any asset attribution and license files included with the version you plan to use.

Build from source
Each repository includes build instructions for its supported platforms.
ArtCraft apps are written in pure Rust. To build from source, clone the repository and follow the instructions in the repository README. We do not provide build support or pre-compiled binaries; use the official releases linked from each repository.
Eleven of the twelve apps also compile to WebAssembly, so they can run in a browser. FilmCraft is the exception.

The ArtCraft community is on Discord at discord.gg/artcraft. For bug reports and feature requests, open an issue on the relevant GitHub repository.
