ArtCraft download and setup: choose the right product
An ArtCraft download can mean different things. ArtCraft Launcher manages the creative applications, while each Craft App can also be installed separately. The ArtCraft name is also used for other offerings, including an AI creation product.
This guide clarifies the names and directs you to official sources. It does not claim that every tool is production-ready or that every architecture has identical packages. Read the notes for the application and release you choose.

Early 23 October check: published versions unchanged
This limited check found no newer published release. Development docs clarify missing JPEG options in PhotoCraft and hidden-information removal in PdfCraft; they do not establish changes in the installers. Both notes belong to 23 October in Beijing time; PhotoCraft uses the official PR merge time rather than the earlier internal commit time. Direct access to X, YouTube and Google search pages was limited.
22 October check: published releases and community reports
Verified releases include PhotoCraft 0.12.0, VectorCraft 0.14.0, PdfCraft 0.11.0, FigCraft 0.9.0, Launcher 0.6.1 and new packages for the remaining Crafting Apps. They were published on 21 October UTC; some fall on 22 October in Beijing. Higher versions do not change the development labels. These releases have no FreeBSD ARM64 packages. The briefs are split by Beijing time: six releases on 21 October and eight on 22 October.
PhotoCraft 0.12.0’s official documentation still lists Generative Fill and Expand as missing. Content-aware editing and the separate AI studio are different workflows. The community browser workspace is an independent alpha, and print PR 5456 remains unmerged. These are not our own hands-on tests. Direct access to X, YouTube and Google search pages was limited.
20 October check: published releases and community reports
Verified releases include PhotoCraft 0.10.0, VectorCraft 0.13.1, PdfCraft 0.9.0, FigCraft 0.7.0 and Launcher 0.5.1. Download records for all 13 apps were checked against published packages. The original publication dates are 17–18 October UTC; these are not new releases today. FigCraft 0.7.0’s tagged documentation now includes optional agent read/write folders, which do not provide a complete operating-system sandbox.
Two reports today concern PhotoCraft brush and cursor lag and VectorCraft Pencil drawing new paths instead of editing. Build and environment details are incomplete; we have not reproduced the reports or verified a fix. Direct access to X, YouTube and Google was limited, so coverage is incomplete.
ArtCraft, Launcher, Craft Apps and ArtCraft App
Before downloading or creating an account, identify the product and repository. A tutorial referring simply to ArtCraft may be describing a different offering. Installing the Launcher is not the same as signing up for an AI service.
| Name | Meaning | When it is relevant |
|---|---|---|
| ArtCraft | The brand and its range of products | Identify the specific application or service first |
| ArtCraft Launcher | A manager for the Craft Apps | Install and maintain several creative applications |
| Craft Apps | The 13 creative applications in the catalogue | Choose a tool by task and development status |
| ArtCraft App | A separate ArtCraft offering associated with AI creation | Read that product’s own features and service terms |
Find the official ArtCraft Launcher download
Use the storytold/craft-launcher repository and its Releases section. Select the asset for your operating system and processor, then read the accompanying notes. An operating-system name in the catalogue does not guarantee every possible package or architecture.
Files and installation requirements change over time. Prefer the project’s own downloads to repackaged files. If the release supplies checksums or signature instructions, consult them alongside its installation guidance.
Install the Launcher, then choose your first app
On macOS, open the disk image and follow any instruction to copy the app to Applications. On Windows, run the matching installer. On Linux, choose a package compatible with the distribution and its dependencies. The chosen release’s specific instructions take priority over these general steps.
Open the Launcher, find the application you want and use its installation action, generally labelled Install. Confirm the product name and offered version first. Begin with one app so that you can establish whether the installation process works on your machine.
Afterwards, open a small sample or a copy of a document. A completed installation establishes startup, rather than complete compatibility. Record the version so that a later issue report or update comparison is meaningful.
Download individual Craft Apps without the Launcher
An application’s official product page or GitHub releases may provide standalone installers. This can suit a single-tool setup or an archived installer. You are then responsible for checking new releases and following their updated instructions.
Our PhotoCraft guide explains both paths and the checks for a first run. Other catalogue entries lead to official pages where no Australian English product guide exists. We do not link to unpublished regional app routes.
Check the status of all 13 tools
The shared catalogue separates early alpha tools from projects still in development. A downloadable installer does not validate every advertised feature for your work. Review the status and the application’s specific limitations before using important files.

System requirements belong to the selected release
Confirm the Windows version and architecture, the macOS minimum version and processor, or the Linux libraries and packaging environment specified by the chosen asset. Requirements for the Launcher do not automatically apply to every application it installs.
If something fails, retain the error message, package name and version before seeking a workaround. Check official instructions rather than replacing libraries or disabling protections across the system. This Australian English guide does not imply a local support service or a separate Australian distribution.
Frequently asked questions
Which ArtCraft download should I choose?
Choose the Launcher to manage several Craft Apps, or an app’s standalone release if you only need that tool. Confirm you are looking at the creative application rather than a separate ArtCraft AI offering.
Does the Launcher install all 13 apps immediately?
It provides a way to manage catalogue applications and choose what to install. Installing the Launcher does not mean all 13 apps are already installed or equally mature.
Can I download PhotoCraft on its own?
Yes. Official standalone PhotoCraft releases provide an alternative to the Launcher. Match the package to your system and check the selected release’s installation notes.
Is there an Australian price or subscription for the Craft Apps?
The official catalogue describes the Craft Apps as free and open source. We do not quote a regional price or invent a local subscription. Other ArtCraft products and third-party services have their own terms.
Why does an installable app still say in development?
Package availability describes distribution; development status describes maturity. You still need to check stability, file compatibility and the features required for your task.
