PhotoCraft 0.12.0, PdfCraft 0.11.0 and the latest Crafting Apps releases
Correction October 23: the PhotoCraft JPEG documentation note initially added here used an internal commit time. The official PR merged at October 23 00:53:33 Beijing time, so the note is now in the October 23 brief. Earlier entries retain their October 22 source-check dates. Checked October 22 (Beijing date): this brief covers eight official releases published after midnight in Beijing, including PhotoCraft 0.12.0 and PdfCraft 0.11.0. Their original GitHub publication dates are October 21 UTC. The six releases published earlier on October 21 in Beijing are now in the separate October 21 brief, verified and published here October 22. Community reports remain under their October 22 source check because precise publication times were not established. The official News index still lists January 30 as its latest article. Direct X, YouTube uploads and Google search-page access were limited; coverage is incomplete.

DesignCraft · Official release
DesignCraft 0.11.0: published release
The v0.11.0 notes describe shared PDF reading and reporting incomplete layered exports. Check exported layers and text in a separate viewer; a warning mechanism does not mean all document structure will survive a handoff.

Generative Fill discussion: conflicting comments are not a release notice
Reddit user u/ComprehensiveBox2447 asks whether PhotoCraft has Firefly-like generation. Replies disagree about what is available. The checked v0.12.0 official gaps document still lists Generative Fill and Expand as missing; content-aware editing should not be described as prompt-based generation.
What it means for you: Check the exact product, release and official documentation. ArtCraft’s separate AI studio and an unmerged integration are not proof of a shipped PhotoCraft feature.

Independent browser workspace shared; server integration remains unfinished
Reddit user u/trynaprint shares a creative-workspace demo and the vedranius/creative-workspace repository. The author describes a browser-based project and server-hosting work in progress. The repository labels itself an independent alpha, not an official ArtCraft distribution.
What it means for you: Treat the project as a separate community experiment. We have not tested its storage, privacy, feature coverage or installation. A tablet browser report does not establish official native Android support.

Contributor discusses native-print-dialog work awaiting review
Reddit user u/ZyntaaX links PhotoCraft pull request 5456 while asking about review times. The PR proposes native print-job confirmation and related controls. GitHub shows it open and unmerged in this check; the contributor is using a local fork.
What it means for you: Do not assume this proposal is included in the official 0.12.0 installer. It is distinct from the Windows portrait/landscape correction that does appear in the published release notes.

PhotoCraft 0.12.0 tagged limits still distinguish content-aware tools from generative AI
The version-pinned gaps document explicitly lists Generative Fill and Expand, Generative Upscale and other AI features as missing. This is a documentation check of an existing release, not a separate feature launch.
What it means for you: Content-Aware Fill and Move use a different workflow from text-prompt generation. Use the version-pinned limits when comparing PhotoCraft with the separate ArtCraft AI studio.
